Products Description
This is a form of a balance crane. When it is fixed to the ground, tower cranes have height up to 230m tall that makes these invaluable machines on a construction site, this Topkit tower crane load moment is 160t.m, max capacity is 6t, jib length is 65m, tip load is 2t.
Crane gestures provide a simple solution to the communication problems faced by crane operators.
The construction site is very noisy. Activities such as excavation, piling and drilling create a lot of noise, making it difficult to convey instructions in an accurate and efficient manner. Sometimes, the operator's directional view is blocked or the view of the load area is partially blocked. Lifting in these conditions can put the operator and surrounding workers at serious risk of injury. While the use of crane hand signals is recommended during all lifting procedures, a signalman will certainly be required in this situation. Crane gestures are easy to understand and help operators avoid any potential hazards and complete operations safely and in a timely manner.
Commonly used crane gestures
1. Emergency Stop - The signaller communicates an emergency stop by extending his arms horizontally, palms down, and swings his arms back and forth from this position.
2. Stop - To pause or stop an action, the signaller will extend an arm, palm down; then begin swinging the extended arm back and forth.
3. Raising the Boom - To raise the boom, the signaller extends one arm horizontally to his side, makes a fist and gives a thumbs up.
4. Lowering the signal pole - To lower the signal pole, the signalman will extend one arm horizontally and make a clenched fist with a thumbs down.
5. Swinging the Boom - To swing the boom, the signaller will extend one arm horizontally and point with his index finger in the direction the boom is to swing.
6. Extending the signal pole - To extend the signal pole, the signalman places his hands in front of his waist with his thumbs outward and the remaining fingers in a fist.
7. Lifting the Load - To lift the load upward, the signaller will extend his arm vertically toward the ceiling/sky, pointing with his index finger and making small circles with his hand and index finger.
8. Slow Movement - To slow down the speed of an action, the signalman will place his or her hand over the hand signaling the action.
