Xu Xuejin: 23 Years Of Craftsmanship, Forging ZJCM’s Welding Excellence

Recently, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Zhejiang Province announced the list of Senior Technicians for 2025. Xu Xuejin, a Senior Welding Technician of ZJCM (Zhejiang Construction Machinery Group), was successfully selected. Born in 1980, Xu has been engaged in the welding industry for 23 years. He once led a team to tackle the welding tasks of key structural components for products such as T2T1260 and T2T1500 (the largest Power Tower Erection Crane in China at that time) and ZJCM's key new tower crane products, ensuring the Group's key production tasks with superb welding skills.

As a core welding expert in ZJCM's frontline team, Xu Xuejin has taken on heavy responsibilities in the development of many key products. Faced with complex working conditions and technical difficulties, he has always been a backbone force moving forward courageously. During the development of the T2T1260 extra-large Double Horizontal Arm Tower Erection Crane, he led the team to undertake the welding tasks of core components such as the boom, mast and bearing platform. To address the difficulties of high weld density and complex structure, he developed an operation method of "cleaning - layering - segmenting - step-by-step welding - final forming", which effectively solved the problem of welding complex high-strength steel structures. All welds passed non-destructive testing at one time, strongly guaranteeing the project quality and progress.

Subsequently, Xu Xuejin successively participated in the trial production of ZJCM's first extra-large tower crane ZJT80160 and the first large luffing jib tower crane. In 2025, he led the team to complete the welding of key structural components of the MT2D06 light movable intelligent tower erection device - standard sections and telescopic booms, helping this product win the Gold Medal at the 50th Geneva International Invention Exhibition.
