How to Maintenance your Tower Cranes

Tower crane, also known as tower crane. Tower crane is mainly used for vertical and horizontal transportation of materials in house construction and installation of building components.
To ensure the safe and economical use of tower cranes and extend their service life, the maintenance and lubrication of tower cranes must be done well.

Tower crane maintenance
1.1 Keep the machine clean and clean it in time
1.2 Check the oil content of the reducer and refuel in time
1.3. Pay attention to check the looseness, broken wire and wear of the wire rope. If it exceeds the relevant regulations, it must be replaced in time.
1.4 Check the performance and clearance of the brake, and reliable sensitivity must be guaranteed
1.5 Check the sensitivity and reliability of each safety device
1.6 Check the bolt connection, especially the tower standard section connection bolts, which must be re-tightened after each use for a period of time.
1.7 Check whether the rope head pressure plate, clamp, etc. are loose and should be tightened
1.8 When the wire rope, drum, pulley, hook, etc. are scrapped, the provisions of GB5144-85 and GB5972-86 should be strictly implemented.
1.9 Check whether there are cracks on the bars, belly and welds of metal components, and pay special attention to the parts and locations of paint peeling. Especially the paint peeling at 45° is the most dangerous. The cause must be found out and handled in time
1.10 The bolts and nuts of all parts of the tower (including the connection between the base section and the base), and the pins with a connection diameter greater than Φ20 are special parts. In any case, substitution is absolutely not allowed
1.11 The machine and metal structure should be rusted and painted once after each use
1.12 Check whether the automatic speed regulating device of the hoist and the hook release device are safe and reliable
1.13 Observe whether the electrical contacts are oxidized or burned, if so, they should be repaired or replaced
1.14 The limit switch and button must not malfunction, and the parts should be replaced if rusted or damaged
1.15 The insulation of the electrical switch and switch board must be good, and the insulation resistance should be not less than 0.5MΩ
1.16 Check whether the fastening bolts of the electrical components are loose, and whether the cables and other wires are broken. If so, they should be eliminated in time.
